Pasture Is Rarely Sprayer-Friendly Ground

Ranch and grazing land in this region tends to be everything a wheeled machine dislikes: cross-fenced, brushy, uneven, cut by creeks and coulees, soft in the low spots and steep along the breaks. Gates, cattle, water sources and old fence lines add more time to every pass.

Working from the air removes most of that. The aircraft covers fenced and broken ground in the same flight lines, and there is no gate to open, no fence to drop and no compaction across grazing land.

What Gets Done On Pasture

• Fertilizer or suitable granular product on grazing land and hay ground.
• Forage and pasture seed on thin, overgrazed or damaged areas.
• Targeted application on patches instead of the whole field.
• Application along fence lines, bush edges and awkward margins.
• Work on quarters where the approach is too soft for a loaded machine.
